RESOURCES FOR EXECUTORS AND ESTATES

Executorium: ‘Where Can Estates Donate Personal Property’ Campaign

November 22, 2024 – Tranquility, New Jersey

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

To grow the visibility of organizations that accept estate personal property, Executorium.com has initiated a “Where Can Estates Donate Campaign”.  The goal of the campaign is the growth of donation category listings in the Esate Service Providers Directory.  By county, Executorium.com lists service providers an estate may require, including who in the county accepts donations of all varieties.  Estates have items from personal property that are neither distributed nor liquidated.  These items may be donated, and either serve the community or be sold for a charitable cause.  We also accept resale for-profits in this category.  Executorium’s mission is, “Be a resource for executors and estates.”  Executorium’s second, double-secret mission is, “Keep stuff out of landfills.”

The “Where Can Estates Donate Personal Property Campaign” will be ongoing using Executorium’s channels and contacts for continued promotion.  Recipients of this release are invited to share this information through their channels.  Anyone is welcome to provide executorium with information of local donation entities that should be included, or extend Executorium’s invite to list in the directory.  There is no cost to list. Below is the link to list in the Estate Service Providers Directory.

“This is a non-rev campaign.  The goal here is supply small resale organizations and present an option to the estate over the dumpster and landfill.  The more Donation Category records we can list, the more effective we can be at that goal.”

– George Compton, Publisher, Executorium.com

The Estate Service Providers Directory lists over 100 donation records from Habitat for Humanity Restore locations to small, independent thrift stores like The Beehive in Newton, New Jersey, which serves the Newton Medical Center.  Estate Executors and Personal Representatives may visit the Estate Service Providers Directory to seek out an accountant or an estate sale company in their county, but their local donation facility or organization will be there too.  The local Auxilary or Book Barn may provide executors with choices for stuff they don’t know what to do with.  Many Estates have used but reusable personal medical equipment.  The Estate Service Providers Directory lists several repositories that accept donation of personal medical equipment including the Convalescent Aid Society in Pasadena.  Books also are a common estate item that estates need to place.  Executorium lists many book donation options in addition to book buyers in the directory’s wanted category.

There are over 3000 counties, parishes, independent cities, and county equivalents listed by page in the Estate Service Provider Directory.  The ‘Where Can Estates Donate Personal Property’ campaign has been initiated with the goal of providing estates in most counties to see multiple donation locations and options listed.  For this reason, the campaign will be perpetual, with the awareness of the estate executor or personal representative of local resources as the primary objective.
