For Immediate Release
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA, August 6, 2026 — Cassidie Carmen Bates has announced the official launch of Soul Executor™, LLC, a grief-informed estate-navigation service providing individualized support to executors, trustees, and others responsible for administering a loved one’s estate.

Soul Executor offers tailored, one-on-one guidance for people managing the legal, financial, household, and practical responsibilities that follow a death. The service is designed to help estate fiduciaries approach the settlement process with greater clarity and confidence while preserving space to grieve and focus on what matters most.
Bates selected August 6 for the launch because it marks the fourth anniversary of the death of her father, John Michael Bates. His passing changed the course of her life and placed her, at age 25, in the unfamiliar role of sole executor of his estate.
“What I needed when I was sole executor, and what my research demonstrates executors, trustees, and other estate fiduciaries need, is the impetus of Soul Executor: a comprehensive, wrap-around service that can support a grieving fiduciary through every phase of the process.”
— Cassidie Carmen Bates, Founder and CEO, Soul Executor™
From Personal Loss to Estate Navigation
Following her father’s death, Bates moved alone into his home in another state while learning how to complete the many tasks that arise after a death. Those responsibilities included obtaining death certificates, planning the funeral, addressing the home and personal property, and navigating the financial and legal requirements of the estate.
The experience showed her how fragmented grief and estate support can be. Mental-health and medical resources may address the emotional, psychological, and physical effects of grief, while attorneys and financial professionals handle particular legal or financial matters. Between those areas, however, a grieving fiduciary may still be left to coordinate the estate’s practical work and countless decisions.
The Gap Soul Executor Serves
Soul Executor is intended to serve people who are grieving while also carrying fiduciary responsibility for a loved one’s estate. These responsibilities may include organizing records, communicating with professionals and family members, managing property and belongings, tracking estate obligations, and making decisions throughout the settlement process.
The company’s one-on-one approach provides an additional layer of practical guidance and continuity across those responsibilities. It does not replace the work of attorneys, accountants, financial professionals, mental-health providers, or other specialists. Instead, it helps the fiduciary understand the larger process, organize the work, and identify the next appropriate steps.
A Grief-Informed Approach
Soul Executor’s approach recognizes that estate administration does not take place separately from grief. Executors and trustees may be expected to manage deadlines, documents, property, finances, professional relationships, and family concerns while also coping with the death of someone close to them.
By combining estate-navigation support with an understanding of the grieving experience, Soul Executor seeks to provide fiduciaries with a more coordinated and humane way to move through the work.
