P.A.L.S. The Professionals of After-Loss Services will hold a 3-day intensive learning summit in Decatur, Georgia, on October 22-24.  The AFTER LOSS SUMMIT 2025 will be a gathering of After Loss, and affiliated professionals to provide practitioners with a learning environment to advance their practice and participate in the state of the After Loss practice in general.

The AFTER LOSS SUMMIT 2025 will be intentionally intimate, limited to just 50 participants to encourage meaningful connections and personalized experiences.  The smaller setting will yield more powerful conversations and learning in the specialized field of after-loss, with the focus on listening and sharing opportunities.  Participants will strengthen their network of after-loss services resources, and support from this collaborative group.

A full program agenda will be released in May/June.  The program structure is designed to educate the after-loss professional in the practical services, solutions, & support to the executor, family, or survivor, in the administrative matters following a loss.

Professional services for people affected by loss is a growing field, serving a practical need.  The summit is designed for providers wishing to elevate their practice of after-loss services in a collegial setting.   PALS Members, Training Program graduates, Partners, and professionals in related fields—including professional organizers, senior advisors, death doulas, and others – will benefit from this event of connected professionals.

Special Pre-Summit Session: After Loss Professional Training Program Cohort

P.A.L.S. is also offering an in-person cohort of the After Loss Professional Training Program on October 21-22.  For those embarking on their after-loss professional journey, this training is part of the program P.A.L.S. offers to new professionals to provide the fundamentals of after-loss services.  Normally, online, this cohort will be conducted live in a 2-day event preceding the summit.
