February 13, 2005
Nagashima Pavarini, Ltd. the Cleveland-based purveyor of surety bonds, has established a scholarship to recognize initiatives contributing to improvement in the fields of elder care, guardianship, probate law, and estate planning. The Building Bonds Scholarship is focused on helping those who are working to solve challenges in these fields. It seeks to recognize and empower individuals and families creating brighter futures through education, professional development, and meaningful community impact. Eligibility is open to professionals, entrepreneurs, and students who demonstrate innovation, leadership, and community-building efforts in the above fields.
Applicants are encouraged to submit a business concept, business plan, video, short film, or any other creative project on the following topic: “How can we address the elder guardianship crisis in the next 30 years?” While traditional essays (between 500 and 1,000 words) are acceptable, we especially encourage submissions that showcase creative and innovative thinking. Scholarship applicants must also submit a statement of fund usage (250 words or less), detailing how they plan to use the scholarship funds and how this supports their academic, business, or professional goals in elder care, probate law, guardianship, or estate planning. Supporting documents, such as proof of professional certification, enrollment, or professional experience, are not required with the initial application but must be submitted if the applicant is selected as a scholarship recipient. There are no age or educational restrictions. Applicants must be US citizens or lawful permanent residents.
