Women’s Lunch Place accepts selected in-kind goods at its Boston day shelter for guests experiencing homelessness and poverty. Current needs include new adult clothing, shoes, toiletries, menstrual products, personal-care supplies, backpacks, books, tote bags, reading glasses, reusable water bottles and selected new linens and related essentials. The program does not accept used clothing or shoes, used towels or bedding, used furniture or home goods, children’s goods, expired products or food. This is therefore a limited-category estate donation resource best suited to unopened personal-care items, new clothing and other currently requested supplies. Large in-kind donations of more than one box should be coordinated with the organization before arrival.
