West End Church Compassion Closet accepts gently used clothing and shoes in children’s and adult sizes for its Compassion Closet. This is a seasonal/community-drive resource tied to West End’s outreach events rather than a continuously open general donation center. Donors should call to confirm whether the current collection window is active.

Collected clothing and shoes are distributed to local families through the church’s Compassion Closet and community outreach events. This provides executors and families with a community-based option for redirecting usable estate property instead of discarding it.

For an executor, administrator, or family sorting estate property, this can be a useful targeted donation option when the listed goods are still usable but no longer needed by the estate. Do not assume the organization accepts every household item or an entire estate load. Confirm current condition standards, quantity limits, drop-off or pickup procedures, and whether bulky, unusual, or estate-sized donations can be accommodated before moving property.

Save a trip! Call first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
