Thumb Industries Thrift Store is a physical donation resource in Huron County, Michigan. Thumb Industries operates a nonprofit thrift store in Bad Axe as part of its employment and retail-training programs for people with disabilities. The store receives donated resale goods from the community. The location can be useful to executors and families sorting estate contents because usable property can be redirected for community use or charitable resale rather than discarded.

The organization accepts donations Tuesday through Saturday during posted hours; donors should call regarding furniture, unusually large loads or items that may be difficult to resell. Thrift operations support employment training and community-based programs. Donation hours, space limits and item needs can change, especially for furniture and larger estate loads. Save a trip! Call Thumb Industries Thrift Store first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
