The Thrift Store in Covington is a volunteer-led nonprofit resale shop that explicitly invites the public to donate new and gently used merchandise. Its website describes a changing selection of secondhand and home-related finds but does not publish a detailed current acceptance or exclusion matrix. For estate use, clothing, ordinary home goods and other clean resale-quality merchandise are reasonable categories to discuss with the store, while furniture, appliances, electronics and specialty goods should be confirmed by telephone before transport.

Store proceeds and its Care Share program provide support and resources for people navigating cancer and other hardships. This location broadens the St. Tammany Parish donation network with a smaller independent nonprofit option. Because the website provides limited item-specific donation criteria, executors should call before assembling a load and should not assume that bulky, damaged, hazardous or difficult-to-resell items can be received.
