The Salvation Army’s Rockland Family Thrift Store & Donation Center accepts donated goods for resale through its Family Store. The current official page states that donated items are sold and that proceeds support local youth and adult ministries and programs. The store operates Tuesday through Saturday at the Payne Avenue location. Because the location page does not publish a complete item-by-item donation list, estate representatives should call before bringing furniture, appliances, electronics, mattresses, large quantities, or specialty goods. Donations should generally be clean, usable, and appropriate for resale. The store offers a local charitable outlet for selected personal property and household goods during an estate cleanout.

Save a trip! Call The Salvation Army Rockland Family Thrift Store & Donation Center first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
