The Salvation Army Newport Family Store accepts donations by appointment and operates as a Family Store serving the Newport area. Salvation Army Family Stores resell usable clothing, furniture, household goods, sporting equipment, books, electronics and other donated goods, subject to local acceptance rules. Because this location requires an appointment for donations, executors and families should arrange intake before transporting estate property and confirm whether large, bulky or specialty items are currently needed.

Donations and purchases support Salvation Army service programs and other charitable work. For executors and families sorting estate contents, this location can provide a practical reuse option for qualifying items that remain usable rather than sending them directly to disposal. Donation capacity, seasonal needs, and item restrictions can change, so donors should review the current guidance before loading a vehicle. Save a trip! Call The Salvation Army Newport Family Store first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
