St. Rose of Lima Thrift Store is a Catholic parish thrift operation in Jay. The Diocese of Portland identifies the Horan Street shop and provides a telephone number for people wishing to donate or volunteer. Proceeds support the parish’s social-ministry work, so donated resale goods are used to sustain community assistance rather than operating as a commercial cleanout service.

The official diocesan listing does not publish a detailed accepted-item inventory, and small parish thrift stores can have changing space and seasonal needs. Executors and families should therefore call before bringing clothing, household goods, books, décor or other reusable estate items, particularly if the donation is large or includes furniture or appliances. Save a trip! Call St. Rose of Lima Thrift Store first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
