Skidompha Secondhand Book Shop is a volunteer-run fundraising shop for Skidompha Public Library and is a useful specialty donation option for estates containing books and related media. The shop states that all merchandise is donated and that donations are accepted whenever the shop is open. Its inventory includes hardcover and paperback books for adults and children, movies on DVD, puzzles, music CDs, and records. Donations are received at the side door, and donors are specifically asked not to leave books outside because cold or damp weather can quickly damage them. This is a limited-category resource rather than a general household-goods donation center, so non-book household property should be directed elsewhere.

Save a trip! Call Skidompha Secondhand Book Shop first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
