Second Time Around Thrift Store – Dawson is one of Heartland Industries’ nonprofit Second Time Around thrift stores. Heartland states that its stores rely on donated items and support work, learning and growth opportunities for people with developmental disabilities. This gives executors and families another local outlet for usable estate property that may otherwise be discarded. Donation acceptance can change with storage capacity, safety requirements, season, and current program needs, so donors should review item restrictions before loading or transporting property.

The Dawson store creates an additional physical donation option in Lac qui Parle County beyond the existing Madison resource. Save a trip! Call first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
