SAFE, Inc. Donation Drop-Off
Services
SAFE, Inc. accepts in-kind donations at its Tupelo administrative office for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The organization specifically lists furniture, lamps, bath towels, comforters and sheet sets, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, glassware, vacuum cleaners, household cleaning supplies, kitchen towels, and new packaged socks and underwear among its needs. Donation drop-off days are normally Tuesday and Thursday, and donors are instructed to call before bringing items because storage space and current needs can change.
Items should be new or in good used condition. SAFE does not accept car seats, stained mattresses, damaged clothing, or other unusable goods. This makes the program particularly relevant for selected household contents rather than indiscriminate estate cleanouts.
For an executor, administrator, or family sorting estate property, this can be a useful targeted donation option when the listed goods are still usable but no longer needed by the estate. Do not assume the organization accepts every household item or an entire estate load. Confirm current condition standards, quantity limits, drop-off or pickup procedures, and whether bulky, unusual, or estate-sized donations can be accommodated before moving property.
Save a trip! Call first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
