Pointe Coupee Parish Library — New Roads in New Roads, Louisiana is a physical donation or reuse resource for books suitable for library use, resale or other Friends/library support purposes. This is a book-focused donation resource rather than a general household-goods outlet. Donors should not assume acceptance of furniture, appliances, electronics, clothing or miscellaneous personal property and should ask about damaged, outdated, moldy or very large book collections. The library’s support page states that books can be donated to its branches. For estate-sized collections, call the New Roads branch before loading so staff can confirm quantity and current receiving capacity.

Book donations help the parish library maintain and support reading resources and related library activities, giving suitable estate books a community reuse option. For an executor or family clearing an estate, this location may provide a reuse path for suitable property rather than disposal. Acceptance can change with storage capacity, condition, seasonal needs, safety rules, and resale or program demand, so confirm unusually large, fragile, upholstered, electrical, medical, or specialty items before transporting them.

Save a trip! Call Pointe Coupee Parish Library — New Roads first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
