Paw in the Door accepts gently used goods for recurring fundraising yard sales that support its cat-rescue work. Current event guidance requests clean, usable sale items and has included dishes, linens, furniture, books, decorative items, gardening goods, clothing in good condition, and working electrical items. The organization excludes computers, outdated electronics, large appliances, heavy exercise equipment, worn-out furniture, and other goods that would create disposal costs.

Donation intake is seasonal and tied to scheduled yard-sale collection periods, with alternate arrangements sometimes available by calling ahead. Because dates, storage locations, and acceptable categories can change between sales, this is not a walk-in daily donation center. Executors should use it only for suitable resale goods after confirming the current collection window and any limits on larger items. Save a trip! Call Paw in the Door first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
