Orono Health Association Thrift Shop
Services
Orono Health Association Thrift Shop accepts gently used clothing and home goods. Its published examples include art, books, clothing and outerwear, dishware and flatware, linens, puzzles, games and crafts, shoes and boots, sporting goods, toys, yarn and fabric. Donations should be clean and presentable, and the association provides an outside drop box for donations outside normal thrift-shop hours.
The shop does not accept large furniture such as beds, dressers and tables or large electronics such as televisions, computers and microwaves. Proceeds support community programs, and the association also operates a free medical-equipment loan closet at the same physical location. This combination makes the site useful for smaller household property and some community reuse needs, while bulky estate goods require another outlet. Save a trip! Call Orono Health Association Thrift Shop first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
