New Horizon Thrift Store is a nonprofit or community donation resource in Pine County, Minnesota. The organization states that it accepts clothing, shoes, jackets, toys, small appliances, lamps, blankets, sports equipment, small furniture, books, games, craft supplies, tools and office or school supplies. This can make the location useful to executors and families sorting estate personal property that remains clean, usable and appropriate for charitable resale or redistribution. Important limits noted by the organization include no large appliances, large furniture, mattresses, medical equipment, televisions, computers or hazardous waste.

Donation hours and acceptance rules may differ from shopping or office hours, and organizations may temporarily limit categories because of storage, staffing, safety or seasonal needs. Donors should not leave items outside designated donation times unless the organization explicitly permits it. Save a trip! Call first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
