Maryland’s Durable Medical Equipment Re-Use Program identifies Cecil County Aging and Disability Services in Elkton as a donation site for reusable medical and mobility equipment. Current accepted categories include items such as canes, knee scooters, manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs and scooters, rollators, shower chairs, lifts, transfer boards, transport wheelchairs, and related mobility or safety equipment.

The state program also maintains a current not-accepted list that includes items such as bedside commodes, CPAP/BiPAP equipment, crutches, hospital beds, disposable medical supplies, oxygen equipment, lift chairs, heavily soiled or corroded equipment, upholstered items, and walkers. The Elkton site directs donors to the medical-equipment container in the rear parking area. Save a trip!
