Maine Children’s Home
Services
Maine Children’s Home accepts newly purchased in-kind goods for programs serving children and families. Its giving guidance identifies items for the Journey Program and Christmas/Winter Essentials work, including new unopened diapers and baby wipes and other new essentials identified on current program needs lists. Physical donations can be left at the Administration Building on the organization’s Waterville campus during its stated weekday drop-off window.
This is a restricted donation resource: Maine Children’s Home states that in-kind goods must be newly purchased so families receive items that are new and intended specifically for them. It is therefore best suited to unopened supplies and newly acquired essentials rather than used estate contents. Donors should review current needs before purchasing or transporting goods. Save a trip! Call Maine Children’s Home first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
