The Lucedale Library is listed as a community Blessing Box location where people may give or take basic necessities. The Mississippi resource guide states that Blessing Boxes accept nonperishable food, drinks, snacks, diapers, baby formula, hygiene items, pet food, pet treats, cat litter, and puppy pads.

This can be useful for smaller unopened estate consumables.

For an executor, administrator, or family sorting estate property, this can be a useful targeted donation option when the listed goods are still usable but no longer needed by the estate. Do not assume the organization accepts every household item or an entire estate load. Confirm current condition standards, quantity limits, drop-off or pickup procedures, and whether bulky, unusual, or estate-sized donations can be accommodated before moving property.
