Lincolnville Community Library
Services
Lincolnville Community Library accepts gifts of books, audiobooks, and movie DVDs in excellent condition during certain times of the year, with donors asked to check with the librarian before bringing material. The library does not accept textbooks, outdated reference books or travel guides, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books, VHS tapes, computer manuals, unpublished manuscripts, or books that are soiled, torn, smoky, or mildewed.
The library decides whether donated materials are added to its collection and may dispose of items it cannot use. For an executor, this is therefore a selective outlet for high-quality books and media, especially when a small collection has already been screened. Seasonal acceptance and limited space make advance contact important before transporting boxes from an estate. Save a trip! Call Lincolnville Community Library first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
