Judge Jones provides mediation and arbitration services to Executors, Trustees, and families having issues regarding the death or illness of a family member. His experience includes a 50-year career as a lawyer and trial court judge following a career as a Certified Public Accountant. His law practice prior to taking the bench included Wills, Trusts, Estate probates, and administration. As a judge, he presided over many of the same matters and has mediated such matters beginning in 2013 after he retired from the bench after 16 years of service.

Mediation (as well as single-arbiter arbitration) can be held in person if the added travel cost is warranted, but Judge Jones conducts most sessions via the Zoom platform. He was a pioneer in Texas in the use of Zoom for mediation as the 2020 covid pandemic paralyzed the court system.
