Jacob’s Well Ministries operates this Purvis thrift store as part of its faith-based addiction-recovery ministry. The ministry’s official Ways to Give page specifically invites the public to shop at or drop off donations at its thrift stores in Purvis, Picayune, and Poplarville, with store proceeds helping support residents in recovery. Jacob’s Well also accepts certain in-kind supplies and maintains a needs list that includes clothing and other practical goods.

The official site does not publish a complete store-specific accepted-items list, so executors and families with furniture, appliances, electronics, mattresses, bulk household contents, or other large estate items should confirm acceptance before transporting them.

For an executor, administrator, or family sorting estate property, this can be a useful targeted donation option when the listed goods are still usable but no longer needed by the estate. Do not assume the organization accepts every household item or an entire estate load. Confirm current condition standards, quantity limits, drop-off or pickup procedures, and whether bulky, unusual, or estate-sized donations can be accommodated before moving property.

Save a trip! Call first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
