Re-Tails Boutique operates inside the Huron Humane Society shelter in Alpena as a resale program benefiting shelter animals. The official page specifically seeks donated artwork, designer handbags, fine table linens, handmade or vintage jewelry, home décor, lamps and chandeliers, mirrors, rugs, unique items and wood furniture. For an estate with decorative, collectible or household pieces, this is a useful specialty local outlet. For executors, administrators and families clearing a residence, this can provide a focused outlet for qualifying estate property that matches the organization’s current needs.

Re-Tails is selective rather than a general-purpose thrift store. Donors should contact the shelter before delivering furniture, large decorative items or unusual estate property to confirm that the boutique can use and safely handle the items. Save a trip! Call Huron Humane Society Re-Tails Boutique first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
