Hooks & Hangers is a nonprofit resale store supporting Spring Dell programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The La Plata location accepts clean, sellable donations including clothing and accessories, books, toys and games, home goods and décor, and seasonal items; the store also recycles some unsellable clothing, shoes, and purses when properly identified.

The organization does not accept a number of bulky, unsafe, outdated, or damaged categories, including mattresses and box springs, large appliances, sleeper sofas, torn or stained furniture, cribs and car seats, lawn equipment, old electronics, and broken goods. Donations are accepted only during designated store hours and should not be left outside. Save a trip!
