The Town of Hollis operates the Community Clothing Closet as a local clothing-reuse resource. The official municipal page gives the physical location and hours and provides specific donation instructions, including not leaving contributions when the closet is closed and not using oversized contractor bags. The page also states that household items should not be left, making this a limited-purpose donation resource focused on clothing rather than mixed estate contents.

For executors and families with clean clothing to redirect after an estate cleanout, the closet can provide a local York County option. Because the program is volunteer-run and has narrow operating hours, donors should confirm current needs and capacity before arriving. Household goods should be directed elsewhere because the official page expressly asks donors not to leave them. Save a trip! Call Hollis Community Clothing Closet first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
