The Waldo County ReStore is an official Habitat for Humanity donation and resale location in Belfast. Habitat’s Maine and national pages identify the ReStore at 92 Belmont Avenue and describe ReStores as nonprofit home-improvement stores and donation centers selling new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and related goods. Maine’s Habitat page lists regular Thursday-through-Saturday store hours for the Belfast location. Because local inventory capacity and acceptance standards can change, donors handling an estate should call before bringing large furniture, appliances, construction materials, or mixed loads. ReStore donations support Habitat’s affordable-housing mission and provide a reuse outlet for suitable home-related property.
