Current guidance lists furniture such as couches, chairs, tables, desks and office furniture, along with small home appliances and a range of building and home-improvement materials. The ReStore also offers free pickup for qualifying large items in good condition within its service area. The organization specifically says it does not accept clothing, televisions or computer components, mattresses or box springs, previously opened liquids, and several children’s and fabric items. Donations can be dropped off during store hours, but the ReStore recommends calling ahead because space constraints can affect acceptance.
