Greater Androscoggin Humane Society accepts a range of in-kind supplies for animals and shelter operations. Its current wish list includes cat and dog food, cat litter, pet carriers, toys, fleece blankets, towels, wash cloths, collars, leashes, paper products, laundry detergent, bleach, office supplies, and other specified items. The organization also invites donors to bring certain grocery and enrichment items during open hours.

For an estate or household cleanout, this is best treated as a specialty donation destination for clean linens, pet-care items, office supplies, and other goods that match current shelter needs rather than as a general resale outlet. Needs change, and some categories are highly specific, so donors should review the current wish list before loading items. Save a trip! Call Greater Androscoggin Humane Society first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
