Grant County Historical Society is a Minnesota donation resource in Grant County that considers older family items, archival materials, photographs, ephemera, and three-dimensional objects with a documented connection to Grant County. Items are evaluated for relevance, condition, storage needs, duplication, and the museum’s ability to care for them; several heavily represented categories are restricted. This is a specialized donation option rather than an unrestricted estate cleanout outlet, so donors should confirm that proposed items fit the organization’s current needs or collection policy before transporting them.

For executors and families sorting estate property, this resource may provide a local destination for qualifying items that otherwise need an appropriate reuse, charitable, or preservation outlet. Save a trip! Call first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
