Gran’s Attic Thrift Shoppe
Services
Gran’s Attic Thrift Shoppe in Mandeville accepts lightly used and new donated items, including clothing, household goods, jewelry, seasonal clothing, linens, collectibles, shoes, handbags, artwork and similar resale merchandise. Donation receiving is limited to specified Monday-through-Thursday daytime hours. Due to the shop’s size, it does not accept mattresses, computer equipment, child car seats or large furniture. Estate representatives should separate out those excluded categories and call before bringing unusually large quantities or items outside the published list.
Gran’s Attic is a program of The Samaritan Center, whose food bank and assistance ministry serves Mandeville and surrounding West St. Tammany communities. Proceeds from the thrift shop support that work. The location offers a particularly useful option for clothing, linens, jewelry, collectibles and smaller household possessions from an estate when large furniture and computer equipment have been directed elsewhere.
Save a trip! Call Gran’s Attic Thrift Shoppe first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
