First West Thrift Store in West Monroe, Louisiana is a physical donation or reuse resource for gently used or new clothing, jewelry, furniture, books, toys, linens, dishes, household items, home-entertainment goods and selected medical equipment such as crutches, walkers and shower seats. Goods should be usable and appropriate for resale. Electronics are tested before sale, and donors should confirm mattresses, major appliances, damaged furniture, hazardous goods, recalled products and large estate quantities before drop-off. The store maintains a donation receiving area associated with the West Monroe operation and advertises furniture pickup. Call before relying on after-hours drop-off or before moving bulky furniture or medical equipment.

First West Thrift Store is a church-affiliated resale ministry that uses donated merchandise to support community and ministry work while returning useful goods to local circulation. For an executor or family clearing an estate, this location may provide a reuse path for suitable property rather than disposal. Acceptance can change with storage capacity, condition, seasonal needs, safety rules, and resale or program demand, so confirm unusually large, fragile, upholstered, electrical, medical, or specialty items before transporting them.

Save a trip! Call First West Thrift Store first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
