Father Michael J. Burke Thrift Shop
Services
Accepts gently used clothing, shoes, handbags, belts, dishes, glassware, puzzles, books and small decorative items. Does not accept electronics such as TVs, VCRs, radios or record players, and does not accept large furniture. Donations are accepted during specified drop-off periods; donors are asked to call first and not leave items outside.
When settling an estate, usable property does not always need to be discarded simply because the family cannot keep it. This resource may be appropriate for clothing and personal items, household goods and home contents, and furniture and furnishings that fit the organization’s stated acceptance guidelines. It gives executors and families another option when sorting a home, downsizing contents or preparing property for sale. Donation capacity and restrictions may change, so confirm large quantities and unusual items in advance.
Save a trip! Call first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
