Elijah’s Closet
Services
Elijah’s Closet accepts clothing, shoes, household items, cribs, car seats, children’s furniture, linens, bed frames, home décor and other practical family goods in good condition. Items with rips, tears, stains, missing pieces or poor condition are not accepted. Donors should verify current safety requirements for child equipment and other specialized items before drop-off.
Elijah’s Closet uses donated tangible goods to furnish homes and support foster, reunifying and at-risk families with children across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This provides executors and families with a community-based option for redirecting usable estate property instead of discarding it.
For an executor, administrator, or family sorting estate property, this can be a useful targeted donation option when the listed goods are still usable but no longer needed by the estate. Do not assume the organization accepts every household item or an entire estate load. Confirm current condition standards, quantity limits, drop-off or pickup procedures, and whether bulky, unusual, or estate-sized donations can be accommodated before moving property.
