Dorcas Door Ministry in Clinton, Louisiana is a physical donation or reuse resource for used clothing and other helpful reusable personal or household items handled through the church’s small resale ministry. The church describes a used-goods ministry but does not publish a detailed current acceptance list. Donors should confirm furniture, appliances, electronics, mattresses, medical equipment, hazardous goods and larger estate property before bringing anything. Because this is a small ministry with limited operating capacity, call first for donation hours, current needs and the correct drop-off point, especially for more than a few bags or boxes.

Dorcas Door is a ministry associated with First Baptist Church Clinton that makes useful secondhand items available in the community through a small resale setting. For an executor or family clearing an estate, this location may provide a reuse path for suitable property rather than disposal. Acceptance can change with storage capacity, condition, seasonal needs, safety rules, and resale or program demand, so confirm unusually large, fragile, upholstered, electrical, medical, or specialty items before transporting them.

Save a trip! Call Dorcas Door Ministry first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
