The Donations Clearinghouse of Central Massachusetts Housing Alliance accepts donated furniture and household goods for redistribution to people in need. Donors can request free pickup in Worcester County by phone or email and are asked to provide the pickup location, a list of items and photos. Items are accepted on an as-needed basis and must be in very good, clean, reusable condition because the program cannot repair, clean or dispose of unsuitable goods.

Furniture should generally be accessible from a first-floor location, outside area or garage for pickup. Torn, soiled, structurally damaged or otherwise unusable items may be declined, with final decisions made at pickup. This makes the program particularly useful for estates with serviceable furniture and household basics. Save a trip!
