DeSoto Parish Library — Mansfield in Mansfield, Louisiana is a physical donation or reuse resource for donated books, records, games, CDs, DVDs, audio or video materials, paintings, puzzles, magazines and related saleable media or cultural items used in Friends of the Library book-sale activity. The official book-sale page establishes that sale inventory is donated, but it does not provide a detailed current condition or prohibited-items matrix for every branch. Damaged, moldy, obsolete, incomplete or unusually bulky materials should be confirmed before delivery. Because branch receiving procedures can vary, call the specific library before transporting boxes from an estate and ask where and when Friends book-sale donations are currently being accepted.

Friends book-sale activity returns donated books and media to community use and raises support for library-related purposes. For an executor or family clearing an estate, this location may provide a reuse path for suitable property rather than disposal. Acceptance can change with storage capacity, condition, seasonal needs, safety rules, and resale or program demand, so confirm unusually large, fragile, upholstered, electrical, medical, or specialty items before transporting them.

Save a trip! Call DeSoto Parish Library — Mansfield first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
