Caring & Sharing Room is a volunteer charity sponsored by the Church of St. Mary that receives used furniture and household items in good condition and redistributes them to families in need through community-agency referrals. Its current brochure specifically encourages donations after garage sales, downsizing or clearing a parent’s household. This gives executors and families another local outlet for usable estate property that may otherwise be discarded. Donation acceptance can change with storage capacity, safety requirements, season, and current program needs, so donors should review item restrictions before loading or transporting property.
