Camden Public Library accepts book donations at its Blue Door Book Shed in the Meadow Parking Lot on Atlantic Avenue, normally on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Accepted materials include hardcover, paperback, and audio books, plus puzzles bagged inside their boxes. Items must be in good or better condition, and the library generally limits each visit to two bags or boxes unless other arrangements are made.

The library excludes moldy, musty, water-damaged or otherwise unsellable books, as well as textbooks, encyclopedias, journals, magazines, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, VHS tapes, and certain dated nonfiction. Donors should use the Book Shed rather than taking donations into the library itself. Larger estate book collections require advance contact with staff. Save a trip!
