Adventist Community Services & Thrift Store is a nonprofit humanitarian thrift and community-service program of the Detroit Lakes Seventh-day Adventist Church. It accepts good used clothing, shoes, household and kitchen goods, books, toys and selected furniture when space allows. This gives executors and families another local outlet for usable estate property that may otherwise be discarded. Donation acceptance can change with storage capacity, safety requirements, season, and current program needs, so donors should review item restrictions before loading or transporting property.

The program also provides donated clothing, bedding and kitchen items to people referred by local service agencies after fire, flood or other crises. Save a trip! Call first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
