Twenty-four hours of coursework covers the subject material oriented to the specialty of working in a probate environment and to work with probate attorneys, estate accountants, executors, and estate administrators as they look to administer an estate.  Alternative methods for the liquidation of personalty is covered.  Attention is also given to the sensitive nature of the probate and estate business, given many of the participants/clients may be grieving, and the process of estate personalty liquidation can be emotional.  Candidates for the certification must attend the requisite course classes, and complete and submit an Auction Summary Report.  CES candidates and designees must also be a member in good standing of the National Auctioneers Association.
